Neil Heyside is a seasoned, entrepreneurially driven, Senior Executive with more than 25 years of experience as a Management Consultant. His practice is centered on Financial and Operational Advisory Services, with a focus on performance improvement, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Neil assists clients across the deal lifecycle from strategy development to planning and execution. Pre-deal, Neil focuses on opportunity identification, development of targets and acquisition pathways and validating value through due diligence. Post definitive agreement, Neil engages in rapid planning and execution to achieve successful deal outcomes.
Neil has a solid track record for serving both strategic and private equity clients. He has extensive experience in organizational management, financial analysis and is skilled in creating process enhancements and managing turnaround situations. His experience also includes problem resolution, product management and corporate leadership through a significant number of interim CEO, COO, and CRO positions. Neil has worked in a wide array of industries in the UK, US, Europe and South Africa.
Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Heyside was a managing director for Deloitte Advisory’s Restructuring, Performance Improvement and M&A Practices. Previously he had worked for CRG Partners in their New York office, CRG having acquired his consultancy practice which he owned and managed for 16 years. Mr Heyside possesses particular expertise with Media and Publishing clients. He has represented over 2000 publishing titles and has implemented improvement programs across virtually all functions of a media organization. His experience also spans a variety of industries, including Supply Chain & Logistics, Print Imaging Services, Sales Force Effectiveness, Manufacturing, Retail, Food Processing, Waste Management, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Hospitality. He is also an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Atlanta chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
