Matthew Sedigh provides a full range of interim management and advisory services to both performing and under-performing companies including financial advisory, litigation support, and debt restructuring and recapitalization. He has advised distressed businesses, debtors, creditors, and parties to transactions conducted in and out of court. His experience spans across a wide range of industries including real estate, hospitality, gaming and leisure, manufacturing, oil & gas, homebuilding, and consumer packaged goods. Mr. Sedigh has provided turnaround and restructuring advisory services for nearly 15 years.
He has extensive in-court experience overseeing all aspects of the Chapter 11 process as a Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) and from a financial advisory role. His experience includes providing advisory services to all constituents of a Chapter 11 including debtors, secured lenders, unsecured creditor committees and equity committees. Mr. Sedigh has also provided expert testimony on behalf of his clients on a broad range of bankruptcy issues.
He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and a member of the Board of Directors of the Southern California Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Sedigh served as a Director in the Corporate Rescue practice of a national restructuring firm, and as an Assistant Vice President in the High Yield Trading group at Merrill Lynch. He also spent time at Morrison & Foerster, an international law firm, supporting the origination, syndication and trading of par and distressed bank loans.
