Kenneth Garnett has over 20 years of experience in private equity investing, restructuring investment banking and turnaround consulting. Mr. Garnett serves as a Managing Director in Conway MacKenzie’s Private Fund Services Group, which provides portfolio management and advisory services to the stakeholders of private capital funds.
As a successful special situations investor and advisor, he has implemented complex restructurings, capital raises and M&A transactions while developing and executing turnaround plans to drive results through active board participation. Mr. Garnett is a Certified Public Accountant, Expert Witness in regard to financial matters in U.S. Bankruptcy Court and has held Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Garnett was the Founder and Managing Partner of Renewal Capital, a middle market private equity fund where he managed: deal sourcing, transaction underwriting and strategy, development and execution of portfolio company turnaround and strategic plans, LP communication, and investment exit planning and execution. Additionally, Mr. Garnett was Partner of Gordian Group LLC, a financial advisory firm specializing in financial restructuring and distressed M&A. He has also worked as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting.
