Houston

Mr. Young oversees a suite of Houston-based services including transaction and transformation services, fiduciary services, restructuring advisory, interim management and litigation support. Mr. Young is seen as a skilled business advisor and restructuring expert and frequently provides expert testimony in bankruptcy courtrooms across the nation.

Over the course of Mr. Young’s career, he has been involved in the restructuring of over $50 billion of debt and has significant experience in the energy, infrastructure and industrial services sectors. While his experience in recent years has been dominated by the downturn in the energy space, over his career he has been involved in and obtained significant recoveries for his clients in several notable non-energy matters.

Prior to his restructuring career, Mr. Young served as an analyst with Lone Star Funds where he participated in the acquisition and resolution of troubled loans purchased from the Ministry of Finance and Economics during the Korean debt crisis.
