Jeff Huber is a Director in Conway MacKenzie’s Private Fund Services group, which provides investment advisory and financial advisory services to private capital funds and their stakeholders.
Prior to rejoining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Huber was Finance and Strategy Manager for NewsCred, an enterprise marketing technology/software company. He was responsible for Corporate Development, FP&A, Strategic Planning, Capital Raising, and Investor Relations. He was also an early employee at a newly-formed Long/Short equity hedge fund, LMJ Capital, where he was an investment analyst. While at LMJ Capital, Mr. Huber conducted fundamental research on companies and industries to identify investment opportunities across a range of sectors.
Mr. Huber was also a fundamental investment analyst at LFG, the private investment office of the Lowy family. While at LFG, Mr. Huber helped manage a concentrated portfolio of public equity investments across a range of diversified industries. Mr. Huber began his career as an investment banking analyst at Miller Buckfire, where he advised companies, creditors and other constituents in distressed situations. Representative engagements include advising LodgeNet Interactive Corporation in its prepackaged Chapter 11 reorganization and UniTek Global Services in its out-of-court restructuring. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
