Greg Charleston, Senior Managing Director, leads Conway MacKenzie's Atlanta office and draws on over nineteen years of experience in turnaround consulting, financial crisis management, mergers and acquisitions, and business valuation. He has served as Chief Restructuring Officer and as interim CEO and CFO on several engagements. He has worked with clients in various industries, including transportation, aviation, publishing, retail, distribution, construction and automotive.Mr. Charleston recently served as CRO, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of a $100 million power supply service company. He managed the business through a state court receivership and successful sale through an active auction process. He also recently restructured and refinanced a $75 million kitchen cabinet manufacturer. This was a difficult refinance which resulted in a successful outcome for all parties including several hundred employees. Before joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr Charleston was Vice President of Finance with, Thomson Gale, a major publishing firm. Prior to that, Mr. Charleston was with Ernst & Young where he provided consulting services in the areas of corporate restructuring and reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, and business and asset valuation. Mr. Charleston is a Certified Turnaround Professional, Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the CFA Institute. Mr. Charleston is the secretary and serves on the board of directors of the Atlanta Turnaround Management Association and is also a member of the Atlanta Metro Chamber of Commerce.
