Robert Kolb specializes in providing financial advisory and interim management services to both performing and underperforming businesses.
He brings practical solutions to companies through his experience in financial analysis, financial forecasting, interim management, liquidity management, creditor negotiations, and restructuring plan development and execution. In his roles as advisor and interim management he has represented both debtor and creditor institutions and has experience in a variety of industries, including automotive, heavy equipment, field services, infrastructure, metals, and financial services. Additionally, he has acted as interim management of a distressed private equity fund in which Conway MacKenzie was named the interim general partner.
Mr. Kolb is a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor, and is a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Turnaround Management Association.
Mr. Kolb began his career as a member of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance LLC’s restructuring and turnaround practice followed by Giuliano Miller & Co. LLC. During his time at these firms, Mr. Kolb implemented restructuring plans, facilitated debtor sales out of court and in court via Section 363, represented Unsecured Creditor Committees, bondholders, banks, and Trustees.
