Jesse York specializes in solving complex strategic problems and advising debtors, creditors and related stakeholders in the context of restructuring and turnaround situations. While at Conway MacKenzie, Mr. York has served in several interim management and fiduciary roles and has provided strategic planning, treasury management, financial advisory and performance improvement services to companies in a variety of industries.
Recent experience includes: advising a distressed tier 1, global network solutions provider through a refinancing transaction while enhancing liquidity through identification and implementation of working capital initiatives, management of the treasury department and improvement of forecasting procedures; advising a distressed payment processor through Ch.11 and a section 363 sale process, ultimately administering the plan of liquidation for the remaining Estate assets as the court approved liquidation trustee; and working with a global distributor of consumer products to improve profitability through strategic rationalization, organizational restructuring and cost reduction initiatives.
He is a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Turnaround Management Association.
Mr. York also has experience delivering solutions to debtors in the financial services, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, automotive, food processing, quick service restaurant and building supply industries. Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. York spent several years in the restructuring practices at Huron Consulting Group and Grant Thornton, LLP.
