Glenn Kushiner specializes in crisis management and turnaround consulting services for troubled businesses and municipalities, with business emphasis on firms in manufacturing, primarily for automotive and commercial truck and trailer manufacturing. Mr. Kushiner also has experience in the tool manufacturing, food processing, consumer products, and temporary staffing industries.
He is currently serving as the Creditors Trustee for a bankruptcy estate of a Company that formerly manufactured automotive and heavy truck components. Mr. Kushiner has served as interim CFO on multiple manufacturing engagements as well as the CFO of a Company that manufactures, distributes and recycles replacement toner cartridges. He has also served as a Court-Appointed Receiver of a Plastic Injection Molding Company selling products in the automotive and medical supply industries, as well as CRO of an automotive supplier located in Michigan. Specific to litigation support services, Mr. Kushiner has experience with business valuations and quantification of economic damages. He has also supported various due diligence and capital raising engagements.
Mr. Kushiner worked on the City of Detroit engagement and was responsible for leading the development of the 10 Year Restructuring and Reinvestment Projections for several large departments including the Finance Department, Human Resource Department, and the Detroit Department of Transportation. In addition, Mr. Kushiner has developed, implemented, tracked, and monitored various operational and financial restructuring initiatives and served as the lead project manager for the City in the transition of the income tax function to State administration as well as various other finance and treasury related restructuring projects.
Mr. Kushiner is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Turnaround Professional, is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Risk Management Association. He volunteers time to various charities and also serves as Vice President for Crossroads of Michigan, an organization that supports people in need through counseling, advocacy, and material assistance.
Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Kushiner was a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen. He performed audit and business advisory services for manufacturing and high technology companies and provided due diligence services for client acquisitions.
