Brian Grant provides restructuring and business assistance to troubled companies and their creditors on financial, operational and strategic issues. Mr. Grant has served clients in the context of Chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court restructurings, acquisitions and divestitures, loan workout situations and corporate turnarounds.
Brian has been involved with a number of significant engagements both within and outside of a formal reorganization process. In court, Brian has served as an expert witness on multiple occasions in the context of cash collateral and plan feasibility matters. Out of court, Brian has experience working for both debtors and creditors on restructurings, loan workout situations, acquisitions and liquidations.
Mr. Grant is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) where he serves as board member of the TMA nextGen Atlanta Chapter, and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).
Before joining Conway MacKenzie, Inc., Mr. Grant was a Senior Associate in the Recovery & Reorganization group of Grant Thornton, LLP where he specialized in crisis management and corporate restructuring and has particular expertise in the automotive industry. Prior to that, he was a Senior Analyst in the Restructuring and Performance Improvement Group at Stout Risius Ross and an analyst in the middle market lending group of LaSalle Bank.
